Does UF have good Greek life? ›

Members of the Florida Greek community have historically held some of the highest leadership positions and honors on campus. Numerous chapters provide opportunities for members to attend regional and national leadership training conferences. Brotherhood and sisterhood are bonds of unity and enduring friendship.

Know that the process of joining a sorority or fraternity at the University of Florida is competitive. Not everyone who wants to be a Florida Greek will receive an invitation to do so. Let your student lead during the sorority or fraternity recruitment/intake process.
